Holidays

Several holidays are recognized by all Enterprise offices throughout the U.S. These are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Additional or substitute holidays may be recognized by the groups based on regional considerations. Only full-time employees are eligible to receive holiday pay. Holiday pay is based on a regular workday.

In the event that a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it will generally be observed the preceding Friday or the following Monday. The company may schedule work on a paid holiday as it deems necessary. If a holiday occurs during an employee's week of paid vacation, the employee will receive pay for one holiday and four vacation days.

Unless absent for reasons approved by management, employees must work the day preceding and the day following a holiday to be eligible for holiday pay. Employees required to work on a holiday are paid their normal rate for working and are entitled to take a full day off at another time, normally within the next 30 days. The employee will request in writing this substitute holiday, which is, of course, subject to the approval of his or her Manager.
